Moon-Skulled.com marks the the 13th year of my “online presence.” It seems so long ago that I first started blogging (even if it was not visible to the public), but this is what is has all evolved into. This site is my home. Moon-skulled comes from a poem by Sylvia Plath:
BY SYLVIA PLATH
Clownlike, happiest on your hands,
Feet to the stars, and moon-skulled,
Gilled like a fish. A common-sense
Thumbs-down on the dodo’s mode.
Wrapped up in yourself like a spool,
Trawling your dark as owls do.
Mute as a turnip from the Fourth
Of July to All Fools’ Day,
O high-riser, my little loaf.
Vague as fog and looked for like mail.
Farther off than Australia.
Bent-backed Atlas, our traveled prawn.
Snug as a bud and at home
Like a sprat in a pickle jug.
A creel of eels, all ripples.
Jumpy as a Mexican bean.
Right, like a well-done sum.
A clean slate, with your own face on.
I have had four other domains over the years, the most recent being the short-lived nebulaborn.com, which is now retired.
This is a place for me… to write, to code, to archive memories, art, and whatever else I feel like.
Thank you so much to my online sisters, Michelle, Stefanie and Kimberly for hosting me off and on during the last decade. I ♥ you all.
